Torii Kiyotada VII (1875-1941). Kiyotada was born in Edo and used many go (art names) one of which was Kunsai. He was the son of the Ukiyo-e painter and printmaker Torii Kyosada (1844-1901) end studied the Tosa style of painting under Kawabe Mitate from the age of 18. He later continued his father’s tradition and produced paintings of actors and advertisements for the Kabuki theatre.
